My passion lies in creating live works of art with young people through music, dance and theatre. As a teaching artist I strive to create an atmosphere in which my students can grow as creative individuals, and that the final performance be a collaborative project where the students feel ownership of their own creativity. It is a thrilling experience to watch a child who has never been on a stage before stand in front of an audience and recite an original poem, share a dance they have choreographed or play a new instrument. Perfoming can make a huge difference in the self-confidence of a young person and my work is to share the performing arts with as many young people as possible.
