I explore the conflicted relationship, focusing on the role the artist has today, to elicit a dialogue and to reframe the boundaries between artist and viewer. Different than the conventional form in which art is offered to a passive audience as a completed result, all art forms demand some level of participation by those who experience it. I am challenged to create works that are opposed to the passive reception of digitally produced linear moving images. A form of art that mirrors and stretches our relationship to reality as it concentrates on concerns of engagement, existence and behavior.
