I create large scale drawings of living spaces based on digital photographs. My work is a confirmation and a celebration of the imagined space derived from digital photographs. The starting point of my work is a set of digital photographs taken by my acquaintances, whom I asked to take snapshots of their own living spaces. Each image allows me to explore the space and construct my own reality of it through drawing process. I combine realistic portrayal with disjointed perspectives and scales in order to raise questions about the complexity of perception and experience.
