The things we isolate as signifiers of people and places are totally subjective and personal to us. By linking a series of seemingly unrelated projects, i hope to illustrate the fragmented nature of memory and experience. By looking at small, isolated themes, i am trying to quantify some aspect - however remote - of my experience in a particular place at a particular time. The apparent objectivity of the projects points to the impossibility of that objectivity in our recollection of everyday life. Imaging the non-event as event further questions the notion of selective memory in relation to our personal experiences.
