Collective Sight is a series of collaborative events in which participants are asked to shoot video with their cell phones, beginning at the same time and the same place. The videos are combined into a single finished work which can be viewed/downloaded at www.collectivesight.org. My work in video, photography, and public practice is deeply involved with issues of landscape, public space, and community histories. My projects have been shown in festivals (New York Film Festival, San Francisco International Film Festival, Slamdance) as well as in museums and galleries including the Pompidou Center (Paris), NGBK (Berlin), and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
