Paulom is a Brooklyn based drummer/electronic musician and has been creating and playing music for a long time. His music is an interesting blend of exotic and colorful sounds of India, Electronica, strong funky grooves and rhythmic patterns. He listens to Bollywood music, folk music of India, Mike Clark, Jim Payne, Trilok Gurtu, Karsh Kale, MIDIval Punditz, Susheela Raman, Kraftwerk, Chemical Brothers, James Brown, Boney M and....more for inspiration.

He studied the art of drumming in India followed by private study with Fred Klatz at the Collective and with great teachers in New York City. He has performed at Bitter End, Kenny’s Castaway, Le Bar Bat, Acme Underground and other New York City venues.

Paulom continues to compose music and implement laptop playing with his drum playing. He uses Ableton Live and Reason as his main DAW to compose, record and perform his music.
