Boomslang is the theater/literary wing of Brooklyn-based arts and media collective Goddamn Cobras (www.goddamncobras.com.

The core of Boomslang's activity is based upon giving life to works presented at bi-weekly writer's workshops held in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. We produce works by these writer, and seek to create performance experiences that are accessible to non-theater folks (we applaude non-traditional theater spaces, and performance atmospheres that are organic, unconventional, relaxed, and fun).

Additionally, we aim to work with and foster bonds with creators/innovators in other fields (video, photography, food, dance, music) to harness a spirit of community and multi-disciplinary collaboration in North Brooklyn.
