Einy Aam

Einy Aam is a dancer and choreographer (New York/Norway), dedicated to creating innovative and ground breaking performances that challenge the way we see and experience dance. The work experiments with stylized pedestrian movement and release based modern dance techniques, and challenges the borderline between dance and theater through exploring the limitations of a specific space and props to find hidden possibilities and further meaning in each movement. The work engages the audience by guiding them through different prosceniums, through the unique movement vocabulary, by integrating the voice and live music, and they all come together to tell a story. Einy Aam seeks to question, inspire and motivate, through work that is delicate, clever and articulate, yet still accessible to the general public.
