Baraka de Soleil creates contemporary work steeped in the traditions of the African Diaspora. He choreographs and teaches traditional dances of the Western Region of Africa as well as the Caribbean; this in cojunction with the ability to teach classes in modern and release contemporary technique. He is founder of D UNDERBELLY, an underground network of interdisciplined artists and serves as consultant with various independent artists.
