The Shakespeare?s Sister Company is a vigorous force in engaging literacy, female empowerment and theatrical distinction. Our commitment is to unite female playwrights, actresses and directors in producing great works and, within the community, create a Bloomsbury School for children who are interested in honing their talents and becoming true artists. Our patron saint is one of the world's greatest pioneers of the literary and intellectual community, Mrs. Virginia Woolf. In her essay "A Room of One's Own", she refers to herself as "Shakespeare's Sister." Mrs. Woolf represents the independent thinking and passion that our company exhibits.
