Greene sections of Brooklyn, NY the heart of the most culturally underserved communities in New York. These communities are prime real estate for artistic growth and the perfect place for the Company to prove its worthiness and satisfy its mission.
The company fulfills its mission through its AIE and Play Production programs. Each year, the company hosts a series of stage readings and main stage shows for these communities at nominal cost. The mainstay of the company’s play production program is the young playwrights it develops through its Play Development Program. The company produces the plays crafted by these playwrights and takes them to our target communities.
The objective of our AIE programs is to enhance the educational quality of schoolchildren by bringing into their schools the real-world of the arts. The company is a contract vendor with the NYCDOE. Through this mechanism, the company has access to school systems and their leaders. We offer several professional development programs for teachers and direct student courses/residencies.
