Broooklyn 45 is a public affairs cable television program.

Since 2000, Brooklyn 45 has been airing a weekly cable television show on BCAT that discusses a myriad of issues affecting the residents of Brooklyn whether it be the Stop and Frisk debate; resources for homeowners affected by Hurricane Sandy as well as preparation tips for natural disasters; bullying amongst youth; new community services and resources for persons living with chronic diseases like diabetes or the platforms of candidates running in highly contested citywide races like State Senator Eric Adams, Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes and City Councilmember Jumaane Williams .

The aim of Brooklyn 45 is to create quality television and community programs that will be reflective of our Brooklyn community, that will be responsive and relevant to their needs, and that will build relationships with the many organizations and communities of Brooklyn.
