Concerts on the Slope

Log-in to Favorite

Beginning in March 2012, Concerts on the Slope has produced monthly chamber music performances in the picturesque, historical parish of St. John’s Episcopal Church in the heart of Park Slope, Brooklyn. The aim of this series is that audiences from all over New York City will come to Brooklyn to escape their busy lives, sit outside and enjoy the peacefulness of the courtyard, and then come inside to enjoy some world class chamber music, featuring some of the most exciting young musicians today.

The concerts at St. John’s are free of charge, with a free will donation encouraged, which goes 100% to the performers. Hearing music of this caliber could cost a small fortune at Carnegie Hall or Lincoln Center, but the experience is free, and offers an intimacy not found in any of the major concert halls.
