Aging Performing Artists' Town Hall

09/16/09

5:30PM - 7:30PM

Learn about how you can participate in the first study of its kind to investigate how aging performing artists are supported and integrated within their communities, and how that changes over time. The Research Center for Arts and Culture (RCAC) at Columbia University Teachers College conducts studies that document how characteristics of artists’ life situations—such as health and life insurance, retirement plans, income and more—change over time. All performing artists age 62 and up are encouraged to attend.

Wednesday, September 16, 5:30-7:30pm
Brooklyn Public Library, Pacific Branch
