Directed by St. Clair Bourne, a Brooklyn filmmaker whose work focused on African-American culture and social issues, Making ‘Do the Right Thing’ is a fascinating behind the scenes look at the making of Spike Lee's seminal 1989 movie Do The Right Thing and its impact on the community in Bedford-Stuyvesant. The film features interviews with cast and crew, including Ossie Davis, Danny Aiello, Giancarlo Esposito, Ruby Dee, Melvin Van Peebles and many others.

Followed by panel discussion moderated by Monty Ross with special guests including Sam Pollard, acclaimed filmmaker and frequent Lee collaborator.

Presented by BAC as part of its Scene: Brooklyn, Independent Film and Media Arts series in conjunction with the Brooklyn Chapter of the Links.
