AfroPresencia.com will present "Pyramid Theory: the Art of Eugene Coles" from February 1-28, 2010. Eugene Coles is a Baltimore-based artist who spent his youth in East Elmhurst, Queens. Coles' 40 years of work brings the sensitivity of African American culture to pencil drawings, collages, paintings and even record albums. Coles is the artist who created the Gil Scott Heron album cover for "Winter in America". This show will feature his master works in pencil and collage. The show will include a silent auction of his works; all purchases made during the event will be tax deductible.
