Become a BAC Arts in Education Assembly Group
BAC’s AIE programs strive to enhance the study of all art forms in our schools while supporting artists in their contribution to the culture of our community. We seek artists that can demonstrate artistic excellence, professional experience and teaching ability.
BAC assemblies educate and entertain through performance, narration, and student participation. Ideal performances are suitable for all age groups and are no longer than 45 minutes in length. BAC's Assembly Programs fall into two categories: Contemporary and Historical Performances and Folk Arts Performances.
SELECTION PROCESS
We select new Assembly Performance Groups on a rolling basis throughout the school year.
Special attention is made to groups that can provide performance dates for BAC Staff to attend, or dynamic documentation (video trailers, etc.) of the group in a school or senior setting.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING THE ONLINE APPLICATION
Because the BAC Assembly Group application form is not one that can be saved and worked on at a later date, we encourage interested applicants to prepare needed information on a separate Word doc before they start filling out the form.
