City Lore 56 East 1st Street (Manhattan)
For this month’s meet-up we’re inviting Brooklyn’s traditional artists to a holiday party hosted by the New York Folklore Society at City Lore’s new space in Manhattan.
This is an opportunity to meet and greet members of the New York Folklore Society and get to know the staff at City Lore, an organization that has served the folk artists of New York City for over 25 years. BAC Folk Arts Director Kay Turner will make introductions and encourage everyone to taste the chocolate Yule Log! We’ll also have a pop-up gallery of traditional works for sale made by folk artists in New York State. This event is free.
RSVP to Kay Turner by December 13 at email@example.com
