Debby Field arrived at BAC’s Arts in Education Department after over 10 years teaching pre-school through High School art classes. After studying painting at Rhode Island School of Design, most interested in portraiture, philosophy, and poetry, she continued to take classes in child development, education, and art therapy. She currently practices yoga and tai chi to balance the administrative demands at BAC and continues to further her own education in visual, performing, media and literary arts. Her job as the Arts in Education Coordinator is inspired by visits to NYC schools where she is able to witness first-hand the creative expression and personal potential of the city’s youth.
