Over the past few months, two groups of seniors met to tell stories and write poems. One group focused on oral storytelling while the other choreographed dances inspired by their writings. Come see what we have created by exercising our minds and bodies together!

"Storytelling" and "Words in Motion" is a project of the Seniors Partnering with Artists Citywide (SPARC) program at the Council Center for Senior Citizens, led by artists Rachel Garber Cole and Caedra Scott-Flaherty.

SPARC is one of many creative aging programs for seniors administered by Brooklyn Arts Council as part of our Arts in Education program.
