Ethany Uttech, Regrant Coordinator

Ethany Uttech joined Brooklyn Arts Council in April of 2007 as the Coordinator of the Community Arts Regrant Program. She has been promoting the arts for years, receiving a community service award for the first public art project she organized while still an undergraduate. As the Regrant Coordinator, Ethany gets to apply her love of the arts by helping artists and organizations secure funding for community arts projects across the borough.

Ethany graduated Magna cum Laude from Syracuse University where she received her New York State teaching certification and a BA in Arts Education. She holds a Master’s degree in Art History from State University of New York at Buffalo. She is an avid quilter and visual artist, and sings with Melodia Women’s Choir. In her free time, she enjoys traveling all around Brooklyn to see Regrant-funded arts programs!
