In order to keep traditional dance moving forward, dancers must focus their mission on preserving cultural heritage in their communities. Join this creative professional development workshop for dance professionals, designed to help improve clarity in both mission and motivation. Kevin (Shock-a-lock) Porter, an original locker who was instrumental in sparking the locking dance in New York City in the 70's, will lead the workshop. We’ll cover how to explore purpose while parsing out the business language and rhetoric that can confuse us and stop us from getting what we set out to achieve in our art forms. Please visit our website to register for this free workshop. Space is limited.
