The Directory is made possible, in part, by JPMorgan Chase and the Robert Sterling Clark Foundation.
The Directory is a searchable database of arts organizations in all disciplines throughout the borough of Brooklyn, from grassroots community groups and storefront galleries to world-renowned presenting institutions. For natives and newcomers alike, the Directory is a vital resource testifying to both the variety and depth of Brooklyn’s cultural community.
Users can search the Directory to find information on a specific arts organization, to find Brooklyn arts organizations in a particular category, to locate arts organizations that offer special services, and more.
ABOUT THE DIRECTORY: FOR ORGANIZATIONS
BAC’s Directory is a free service open to non-profit and for-profit Brooklyn-based arts organizations in all disciplines. Organizations who register will be given a user name and password that allow them to login at any time in order to update their information.
ABOUT THE DIRECTORY: FOR PRESENTERS, FUNDERS AND OTHERS
BAC’s Directory of Brooklyn Arts Organizations can be searched alphabetically or by category. For instance, if you are looking for a specific organization, enter its name or part of its name into the search field. If you are interested in finding organizations that offer “Arts for Children and Teens,” on the other hand, simply click on that Category in the Category Listings.
The Directory is also available in print. To request a hard copy of the 2007 Directory, please contact us at (718) 625-0080.
BAC has worked hard to make the Directory as comprehensive as possible. If you know of an organization that is not included in our database, please send an e-mail to bac@brooklynartscouncil.org or register your organization here.
