BROOKLYN-BASED FILMMAKER SCREENING
The 42nd Brooklyn Arts Council International Film Festival will feature a special screening of films and videos by Brooklyn-based artists.

SEVENTH ANNUAL WOMEN OF AFRICAN DESCENT FILM FESTIVAL
The Brooklyn chapter of the Links will host a special screening of films and videos by women of African descent that explore the following themes: women, their families, neighborhoods or the global community. The screening will take place at the Long Island University campus in Brooklyn.

VIDEO MEDIA INSTALLATION
This year, the Film Festival will have a special 4-artist media installation exhibition for approximately three weeks surrounding the film festival in the DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn. Artists chosen for this opportunity will be expected to attend screening events/panel discussions.
