JPMC Guidelines

The JPMC Regrant Program is sponsored by the JP Morgan Chase Foundation. JPMC Regrants support Brooklyn-based arts organizations whose primary mission is to provide arts and cultural activities open to the general public. Funds are awarded for specific capacity building projects that will contribute to the overall stabilization and/or growth of the applicant organization, and will help move it to the next level of success in achieving its mission.

This program supports arts organizations whose primary mission is to provide arts and cultural activities to the general public. Certified nonprofit organizations that have operating budgets of $500,000 or less and have been active for more than three years may apply. JPMC Regrant awards range from $2,000 to $3,000.

WHO CAN APPLY?
Brooklyn-based nonprofit arts organizations that have been active as an organization for at least three years, have operating budgets of $500,000 or less, and which have a board of directors that meets regularly.

WHO CANNOT APPLY?
To allow a greater number of groups to participate in the funding process, organizations that have received JPMC Regrant funding for the last three consecutive years must take a one-year hiatus before reapplying.

GRANT AWARD INFORMATION
JPMC Regrant requests range from $2,000 to $3,000. The average grant in past years has been between $2,400 and $2,600. IN a typical year, about 40% of applications are funded.

Can I submit more than one application to the JPMC Regrant?
No. Applicants may submit only one request to JPMC per grant cycle.

Can I apply to JPMC as well as other BAC Community Arts Regrant Programs?
In addition to your JPMC request, you may submit 1 DCA request and up to 3 NYSCA requests(for separate projects). NYSCA requests must not exceed a combined total of $5,000 in requested funding.
