Want to get off the grid? Looking for a cool Brooklyn pad? Sick of forking over countless dollars to Con Ed? We are seeking a long or short term artist (visual/performative) interested in living in a Brooklyn loft space that is being converted to off-the-grid sustainable energy. It's a 4000 sq. ft space near the Brooklyn Navy Yard, close to Manhattan. The room is affordable and comfortable with excellent light. In addition, there is a huge rehearsal room (25' x 45') that you can use. The rent is $595 with an extra $85.00 per room for utilities and common area maintenance. Over time, as the green conversion is complete, utility costs will actually GO DOWN. What a novel concept! Available for immediate occupancy. Email ROOMFORRENT@GMAIL.COM to receive an application and set up an appointment. In addition, the room has: * 7' x 15' with High Ceilings * Plenty of Light * Hardwood Floors, built-in loft bed * Wireless Ready * Close to many Banks, Restaurants, Cafes, Bars, Parks, and other amenities * Access to our HUGE 25' x 45' Rehearsal Space. * Live w/a vibrant community of artists in a casual and relaxed atmosphere.
