MECAC-Medgar Evers College Art Committee is seeking submissions for its upcoming exhibit "Caribbean Art and Artists of the Diaspora" featuring works by Caribbean and African-American artists whose works reflect the unique cross-cultural blend of the Brooklyn community.
Submissions are due by July 30th, 2011. The exhibit will run from August 31st through mid-October (exact closing date to be determined). Additional information and submission forms are available via request to jemma@mec.cuny.edu.
The submission deadline has now been extended to Thursday, August 5, 2011. Selections will be made August 11 & 12 and notifications will go out immediately to all artists. Delivery of art works will occur August 22 through August 24, 2011.
