PROJECT FOR CANAL, Installation, 1:2294, viewable from 2nd Street Public Dock

Free boat tours and gallery show.

Canadian artist David Eustace exhibits works from a two-year visual arts project. All the work was created outside, & the exhibit features large works on canvas that were created in the Gowanus Canal, Brooklyn.

Concurrent with the exhibition, PROJECT FOR CANAL offers free boat tours of the Gowanus Canal, where visitors can experience the tidal canal for themselves.

Opening: 6pm, Thursday, May 15: Brooklyn Artist’s Gym, 168 7th Street, Brooklyn. Closest subway stations: Smith and 9th Street (F,G) and 4th Avenue, 9th Street (F,R,M).

Viewing continues through May 18.

Transportation to the dock leaves every 15 minutes from the gallery.
