Did you know there are 119 artists in my neighborhood, Williamsburg http://www.gobrooklynart.org/explore/neighborhoods#williamsburg, who are going to open their studios to the public on September 8-9 for GO Brooklyn Art?
As part of GO, you can visit my studio from 11am to 7pm either Saturday or Sunday (or both). I hope you can make it out to see my latest work.
Here’s my artist page: http://www.gobrooklynart.org/studio/CatyaPlate
Here's how to support me (and my fellow artists):
- Register to vote & add my studio to your itinerary. Plan a walking studio day and see tons of art, have lunch at Marlow & Sons (81 Broadway), which is very close to my studio.
- Gather your friends, neighbors, families and colleagues and come visit my studio over the GO open studio weekend.
- Share your itinerary via Facebook, Twitter, email, or blog.
GO is a new project at the Brooklyn Museum, taking place in neighborhoods throughout Brooklyn. During GO, Brooklyn-based artists will open their studios to the community on September 8–9, 2012. Community members registered as voters will visit studios and nominate artists for inclusion in a group exhibition to open at the Museum on Target First Saturday, December 1, 2012. Visit the GO website to learn about how you can take part in this borough-wide project: www.gobrooklynart.org
