Greetings Friends!

From January to May 2013, SAVAE, Inc.'s co-founder, Patrice Payne, led a counseling group for 9th and 10th Grade High School Girls entitled, "Ladies' Night".  Conducted as an open forum, the group focused on topics that directly or indirectly affected the students; with the intention of encouraging students to develop and strengthen an awareness of self.
The group participated in open discussions and viewed a variety of films and documentaries, which focused on specific issues: societal pressures, identity, stereotypes, the Feminist Movement and violence against women and girls.
Petula Payne, co-founder of SAVAE, Inc., hosted a special workshop for the students and produced a video campaign on the topic of ending violence against women and girls.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5jjpQrPQnQ
SAVAE, Inc. is dedicated to fostering cultural understanding and awareness, while mobilizing social change through the arts.
