In this performance I will perform Georgian monologues, scenes from dramas, dances and songs. I have joined with Grigor Amiranashvili and his men’s quartet (Giorgi Khizanashvili, Niko Muradeli and Malkhazi Mangoshvili) with their project of traditional Georgian songs. We have created a marvelous blend of the dramatic with the melodic to showcase the best of Georgian arts. To add spice to our evening we will have some selections of Georgian food and drink.
The event will take place Sunday, December 8 at 8:00 p.m. at Dancing Crane’s Georgian Cultural Center, 6401 20th Avenue, Brooklyn. It is at the corner of 64th Street, a short walk from the N-train 20th Avenue station.
Tickets of $15 are as a suggested donation, so that if this is a financial hardship – come anyway. Seating is quite limited. Information is at www.dancingcrane.org and the facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Dancing-Crane-Dance-Studio/168886003184305. But the best thing is to call Victor at 914-522-3888.
