Celebrate with us, as we show a selection of scenes from participating IDEAS classes at P368K. 4th & 5th graders, some with ED and some students with autism, have for several weeks been getting theater classes where students were guided to use improvisation to tackle a variety of social issues. Issues that were explored through improvisation this spring included bullying, respect, how to behave in social enviornments, anger and violence, sharing attention, hygiene, and nutrition. Come see a selection of improv scenes where students explore solutions and different choices involving these issues, all while learning about characters and stories. Scenes will be performed in the Auditorium at P368K @ the 120K location, 18 Beaver Street in Brooklyn. This showcase will be performed between 9:30am and 11:00am.
