Booklyn Artists Alliance is hosting an open call to New York based self-publishing artists. We are seeking painters, printmakers, photographers, illustrators, sculptors, video artists who work cross platform and also self-publish for a solo-exhibition at our gallery to run through November and December 2014. Artists will receive a materials stipend to create new work, and will work one-on-one with our curator for professional and technical support in creating a new limited-edition artist’s book and a new zine of material cross-referencing the exhibition. Artists will also be paid to teach two workshops during the duration of the show.
Applications will only be accepted through our Google Form Page found here. Applications will be accepted until 8pm, June 8th.

Our current exhibition series is dedicated to providing self-publishing artists, who generally share their work through zines and other printed matter, with a platform for exhibition, experimentation and exploration outside of the printed format.
