F.O.K.U.S. NYC Presents: Off The Wall: Destroy + Construct Art Show
On October 11th from 7-10pm (Free admission), at Deity Lounge in Brooklyn, NYC (368 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn, NY) F.O.K.U.S. will be tearing down preconceptions and societal expectations of what art represents with the Destroy- Construct-Destroy-Construct art opening.
Join F.O.K.U.S., NY Kings/Frank151, Nort/Recon, Fresh Industries and Spraygraphic as they present Destroy+Construct+Construct+Destroy featuring
graffiti and street-inspired art created by AVOne, of Destroy & Rebuild NY and John Wright, of Convoluted Construct. Using individualized mediums and styles, these two artists converge at F.O.K.U.S.' art series premiere event. These two artists' work aims to destroy the negative connotations and public opinions that have come to be associated with graffiti, and to construct in its place a new view and understanding of the now-infamous and globally representative art form.
