P.S. Bookshop launched its crowd funding campaign on Indiegogo.com. The campaign will run for 30 days. The goal is to raise the sum of $80,000.
The bookstore is fighting for its future in Dumbo. The campaign is aimed at raising funds that will keep it in business, immediately and in the coming years. Beyond that the store seeking as wide a support as possible, in order to prove to the store’s landlord the importance of P.S. Bookshop for the neighborhood – a view he no longer regards as relevant in the current real estate market.

The Brooklyn community is the store's immediate line of support. In the coming month the P.S. Bookshop team will try to expand its circle of support. Yet a great deal hangs on the campaign’s first week. The bigger the initial response, the more attention P.S. Bookshop will continue to receive in the different media.
