Alexander Torres is a Brooklyn based artist and designer with a disability receiving support from AHRC NYC. Torres was awarded a grant by the Brooklyn Arts Council to produce his t-shirt designs and launch his clothing line, "Baby Skills". Downtown Brooklyn Partnership has provided space for Torres to sell his line at the Albee Square Farmer's Market on Fridays in June.
A very limited edition of Alexander Torres' shirt designs will be available for purchase from the artist at the Farmer's Market. Shirts will be sold at cost, $30 apiece. The proceeds will go to Torres and be put toward building his "Baby Skills" brand. We will be accepting cash, credit, and debit.
Venue address: Albee Square is in the heart of Brooklyn's vibrant Fulton Mall and is easily accessible from the Dekald Ave (Q, R, D, B trains), Hoyt & Schermerhorn (A, C, G trains) and Nevins St (2, 3, 4, 5 trains) stations.
Event dates and times: Fridays, June 12th, 19th, & 26th from 11 AM to 4 PM.
