Finding Your Center
The Brooklyn Community Pride Center is pleased to announce its first juried exhibition: Finding Your Center.
2D works will be selected by respected professionals in the art world and curated by BCPC. The juried exhibition will be presented at the Center.
3 Finalists will be selected and announced at the Finding Your Center show on December 8th, 2015.
First Prize winner will receive a solo show, their work featured on BCPC social media outlets and a medal of recognition.
We are seeking works that resonate with the individual and who they are. What brings you peace? How do you find your center? We want you to share your inner journey with us.
Artists of all levels and stages in their careers are welcome to submit. Only 2D works will be accepted due to limited space.
Drop off Date: November 27th 2015
Show Date: December 8th 2015
Submission and Entry Fee
$20 for two images. Each additional image is $5.
You must submit your images via the internet for consideration.
Payments must be made in order to have your images accepted.

-Nayland Blake is an artist and educator who is the current chair of the MFA program at the International Center of Photography.
-Jack Dowling, painter, writer and former director of Westbeth Gallery.
-Mary Gordanier is the Visual Arts Coordinator at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. In conjunction with the Curator of Visual Arts, she works to implement art exhibitions and special projects across BAM’s campus and the Downtown Cultural District.
