The DUMBO arts center seeks artists working in video, film, installation, photography, and/or computer media with the topic of religion and its relationship to power, economics, and politics. The exhibition aims to explore how artists envision the role of religion in contemporary experience. The concept does not intend to represent, illustrate, or allegorize religious experience, whether collectively or individually, but to provoke thought and highlight critical positions.
