Andrew Drury’s DRUM/BRIDGE Tentet performs “These Trees,” an original suite of compositions exploring memory and desire as they relate to the natural environment of Drury’s place of origin, the Pacific Northwest.
Composed by Andrew Drury for ten musicians including JASON KAO HWANG (violin), STEPHANIE GRIFFIN (viola), THOMAS HEBERER (cornet), KU-UMBA FRANK LACY (trombone), J. D. PARRAN (flute/contra-alto clarinet), BRANDON SEABROOK (guitar), ALEXIS MARCELO (keyboard), KEN FILIANO (bass), ANDREW DRURY (drum set, percussion). + a cellist tba.
Students from the BNS and BCS music programs will perform briefly before the DRUM/BRIDGE TENTET set.
