Arts Education Facilitors Needed!

HAI, a non-profit arts agency, is seeking to create a facilitator cohort program to work in dynamic arts based after school programs.

We are looking for vibrant, self-motivated individuals who have interdisciplinary arts backgrounds, experience creating lesson plans and class curricula and experience facilitating workshops with middle and high school aged youth.

Experience with Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed, community organizing, community based research methodologies and social action projects are a plus.

A bachelor’s degree necessary, graduate study preferred.

HAI (Hospital Audiences, Inc.) is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization founded in 1969 by Michael Jon Spencer. Each year, HAI touches the lives of more than 400,000 people in the New York City community whose access to the arts has been limited by health, age or income.

HAI provides cultural access through music, dance, theatre and the visual arts, reaching out to the frail elderly, mentally and physically disabled, seriously ill children at health and social service facilities and youth in grades K - 12.
