In this three part series Pistachio, a girl made from good recycled trash, protects the community and the world from bad garbage. Each week a new episode of adventure is presented outdoors free of charge. Writer Emmy Gay and director Nicole Cain both Brooklyn parents team up for this fun recycling fantasy. Writer and producer Emmy Gay is an award winning comedian and writer. She is a recipient of a New York Foundation for the Arts fellowship award and a four time New York State Decentralized Grants recipient. Her one woman show ?Goin? Sane? has been presented in theaters around the world. Director Nicole Cain has worked and trained for over 20 years in different places from Europe to Africa. She uses her skills to go beyond Western Theater. Nicole born in the Netherlands has directed, created and taught in New York City for the past eight years. Theater for Little People is in part sponsored by the Brooklyn Arts Council Inc.
