I paint small, tender images on wood and large, strapping oil paintings on un-stretched canvas. In order to address conflicting social-sexual issues, I depict figures in negotiation over erotic spaces. My scenes depict BDSM, LGBTQI individuals, and zoophilia. Broadening representation of "outsider" images of a sexual narrative furthers empathy and license for these images and individuals. My work is a collection of portraits (and self portraits) that aim in part to uplift and address the dynamic of underrepresented sexual scenarios. My sources range from handpicked images from the sexological research center, the Kinsey Institute, to work with close friends, and Internet porn.
