Thar desert of India, is one of famous desert of world civilization, since last many centuries this desert is not only famous for its historical background but also for its culture.
Yusuf have traveled extensively to remotest corners of rural Rajasthan,for his research work on “Folk art & Culture of Rajasthan” during his research he discover rich folk artists.
Now Mr.Yusuf khurram like to share his research work and knowledge of this magical lively and unique culture with many other organization’s
Desert Arts presents Rhythm of desert (Folk Music & Dance Show) The group has the mixture of traditional hereditary caste musicians of Langa and Manganiar community as well as the dancer from Kalbelia Gypsy community
The center has a team of rural folk artist’s from different field of performing arts. All of
these artist’s were discovered by Mr. Yusuf khurram,creative director of Desert Arts ,during his research in the small villages of Rajasthan.
The aim of center is to find out such hidden talented artist’s from small villages of Rajasthan and provide them a national & international platform to perform.
In addition desert art’s center is also doing research on Rajasthan costumes, languages,
Paintings, architect, handicraft, different rituals of rural tribes!
Desert Art’s Research Center also organize Workshop to teach different form of folk art’s, in a unique method-that is if some one want to learn a particular art from a folk artist, then you have to stay with that artist in his or her village, so one can understand the tradition & art in a close manner.

I like to share my experience with international tourist ,who want to travel Rajasthan,India
with an experience in arranging private and regular tours individually designed for tourists and business people for over many years. I was born in Jodhpur (Rajasthan) in 1959 and love this city and Folk Culture of desert more than any other place in the world, which is why I chose to be a Folk culture researcher in this ancient lands. I enjoy sharing my love and knowledge of this magical, lively, and unique country with a great passion
