The American Theatre of Harlem (ATH) presents its 6th annual community film festival, Cultures Collide. The festival runs March 4th – 7th and features multi-cultural films and filmmakers, an industry panel, and a free festival night devoted to a classic. Each night’s program begins Thursday - Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 3pm in The Great Room of the South Oxford Space, 138 South Oxford Street, located in the arts community of Fort Greene.

Cultures Collide kicks off on March 4th with a community night pajama party and free screening of Claudine, directed by John Berry and starring Diahann Carroll, James Earl Jones, Tamu and Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs. The Festival continues with features, documentaries, and shorts by local filmmakers. On Friday March 5th, a panel of industry professionals provides insight into the challenges of independent filmmaking. Cultures Collide culminates on Sunday, March 7th with the Community Treasure award presentation and the announcement of the Audience Choice winners. Admission Friday through Sunday is $10.
