The Chelsea String Band musicians are multi-instrumentalists and singers, specializing in old-time tunes and songs from the Southern Appalachians, as well as contra dance music. Instruments include fiddle, banjo, guitar, concertina, and anything else they can get their hands on. The band plays for square dances, contra dances, and concert venues.
