Partnerships for Parks is a joint program of City Parks Foundation and the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation, created in 1995 to spur greater community involvement in and support for parks. The Patrnership believes that parks are essential to the life of the city, and that community involvement is essential to the life of a park.
