Southfirst: Art specializes in exhibitions of contemporary artists and artist-curated group shows. Run by co-founders Florian Altenburg and Maika Pollack, the space has been called "one of the best young galleries in Brooklyn" by the New York Times. It is named for the street in Williamsburg where the gallery was started in 2001.
