Established as a non-profit in 1997, Sankofa Art Centre is a community art school dedicated to teaching art to adults who have little or no experience working in the visual arts. Located in Fort Greene in a 900 square foot loft space, Sankofa offers ceramics classes to adults and hosts student exhibitions with an open invitation to the entire arts community.
