A non-profit foundation founded in 1998, the Silver-Brown Dance Company (SBD), has appeared before audiences across the globe. Affectionately known as Brooklyn's fearless dance company, SBD maintains a year-round schedule of performance, education, and outreach activity for audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Born in Brooklyn, Artistic Director Eva Silverstein has been hailed as "a true-blue Brooklyn treasure", creating work that celebrates the human spirit.
