LightBox is a nonprofit theatre company that creates plays, education and civic engagement programs that speak to issues of our time. Since its founding in 1999 the company has created ten productions plus numerous workshops, showings, and performances for public spaces. The company teaches the LightBox Approach, a physical theatre-making method that teaches the art of collaboration and draws on movement techniques including Butoh, Viewpoints, Commedia dell'Arte, and Suzuki, along with company-devised exercises.
